CARPET, RESILIENT, RUBBER, VCT
Our award-winning installation was inspired by a theme of communication and movement to reflect the natural traffic flow of students through the school.
Classrooms are carpeted to improve acoustics and to support flexible furniture arrangements and comfortable floor seating. A central commons featuring flexible seating serves as the main hub for students. This design reflects what students will see in future higher education and work environments.
The design team used form and color to break up the expanse of corridors and to provide visual interest and wayfinding. Throughout the project, a palette of yellows, golds, and the school’s colors emphasize school spirit and youthful culture.
